Lots to be Thankful for
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”Psalm 107:1
Around the holiday season we tend to think a lot about what we are thankful for-it’s what Thanksgiving is meant to celebrate. And celebrate we do because we all have a lot to be thankful for!
Sometimes I find I think about what I am thankful for more around the holidays and less or not even at all once spring and summer roll around. But we have so many gifts to be thankful for year round. Especially the gift of being able to come to Greystone in the summers.
Think about everything good in your life. Kind of a lot right? Well every single good thing in your life came from God. EVERYTHING GOOD.
That is a lot to thank God for. But the thing we have to be most thankful for from God is His love. He showed us just how much he loves us through Jesus’ death on the cross. Now that is something to be thankful for!! When we thank God, when we have an attitude of gratitude it leads us to appreciate His generosity and allows us to live in generosity of His love and thankfulness.
