God Is Patient with You

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalm 37:6

I pray that you grow in patience today. Things often don’t happen on your timeline in life. You may find that, for much of your life, you’ll be waiting. Scripture encourages us to “wait patiently” for the Lord to act, even when it seems like everyone else is succeeding around us.

Ask God to help you grow in patience as you become the woman He’s shaping.

Meanwhile, remember that God is so very patient with you. You’re not perfect. Maybe you’re messing up in various parts of your life. Maybe you’ve made a bad decision that you think God can’t fix. He can. Don’t worry about that. God “works all things for good” (Romans 8). God can fix anything. It just takes time.

It just takes time. Your maturity takes time. God’s plan for you takes time.

Do you have a hard time being patient with your own growth? Do you have a hard time trusting God for His timing?

Remember that you haven’t arrived at your destination yet. Be gentle with yourself and wait for God’s timing.
