Forgive Yourself
“Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul – therefore I hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24
The beautiful thing about Christianity is that God bore all our sins on the cross for us; His mercies are unending and there is never anything that we can do that will separate us from His love.
I love this verse because it reminds us that even when we struggle with sin and go through hard times, it does not have to be the end of us.
God is the answer and He is with us through it all. His compassions never fail and His love is new every morning. God gives us millions of second chances and waits in earnest for us to turn our hearts back towards him.
